The Community Outreach Connection, Inc., awards need based scholarships to graduating high school seniors who attend schools located in the following ZIP Code areas: 75216, 75232, 75237, 75241, and 75233, as well as those who are active members of East Gate Missionary Baptist Church, who will be entering college in the Fall of 2024. 

A maximum of two scholarships for $1,000 each will be awarded in two disbursements of $500.00. The first $500 will be awarded in the Fall semester of 2024 and the second $500 will be awarded for the Spring semester of 2025. For the scholarship application to be considered, all the following items MUST be submitted to www.cocinc.org no later than Friday, May 10, 2024. Incomplete or late applications will NOT be considered. Selected recipients will be notified by email on Monday, May 24, 2024, and a recognition reception will be held Sunday, June 8, 2024, at East Gate Baptist Church, 6960 S. Polk St., Dallas, TX 75232. 75232.

If you are awarded the scholarship, you will receive an Award Letter with instructions that you will need to provide for the check to be processed to the school you plan to enroll (or attend).
